Todmorden Hippodrome Theatre
Please support Todmorden's community owned Hippodrome Theatre by visiting their website todhip.org.  This amazing 485 seat Edwardian theatre is owned and run by TAODS, a registered charity and community run group.  There are lots of opportunities to get involved with the Hippodrome as a volunteer on stage, back stage and with every aspect of the running of a lively community venue.  You can also support the Hippodrome by coming to see the wide variety of events they stage.

This book has been written to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Hippodrome.  Its 128 pages are packed full of information and photographs on the colourful history of the building and the many characters that have been involved there. 
 
This is a great book for people interested in local history and the Hippodrome but also anyone who has been involved with the Hippodrome in the past, who knows, maybe you're in it!  Available through Todmorden Tourist Information Centre either to buy in person or via their web-shop.
